CVMA Membership Benefits
Educational Programs. Members receive discounted rates to attend the CVMA’s annual continuing educational programs.
Legislative Program. The CVMA represents the veterinary medical profession at the State Capitol, lobbying on issues that affect veterinarians.
Publications. The CVMA produces a weekly e-newsletter that is emailed to all members and keeps them informed about veterinary issues and activities in the state. In addition, the CVMA Report is a printed newsletter that is published and mailed several times each year.
Membership Directory. A CVMA directory puts member contact information, important government listings and those of related public and private sector referral institutions within easy reach.
Complaint Resolution. The CVMA facilitates communication between dissatisfied clients and member veterinarians in an effort to resolve concerns in a fair and equitable manner.
Resources and Website: CVMA members receive free information on a variety of issues including veterinary law and ethics, medical records, state regulations, internet pharmacies and disaster preparedness on the "members only” section of the CVMA website.
Free Advertising: CVMA members can place free classified ads on the Veterinary Career Network.
Client Referral Services: When clients contact CVMA or visit our website, we promote CVMA member veterinarians in their area.
